I was just wondering i havn't received PPR yet but what is the address where you send the passport to. Is it the PO BOX address. if it is how do they accept the courier at PO Box.

Please provide the address to mail the PP and the preferred courier company

No one in person receives the courier. They just drop your courier in that box.

I used DTDC express service. they charge 100/- extra for it but deliver courier in 24 hrs with guarantee.

My sister in law had told me not to sent it to the PO box address... it's suppose to take more time...
Every time you get a letter form the embassy at the bottom of it there is an address without a post box...
I sent my PP and the additional docs to that address...

How does the courier company confirms that the delivery was successful since no one receives it. Isn't that mandatory for the courier company to confirm the receipt after signature only. Do they (courier company) update that the passport was successfully delivered on their website.

Its really pissing sanyrog , i dnt know what they are doing. Atleast they should update on the website the change in the procedure or if they are busy in something. They should provide some sort of info. All the applicants after September have started suffering, i dnt knw what is happening

Guys who are waiting for In process.. Did u get reply from ND, if u ve sent email to them?

And, others..

Is there any way where in we can go ask any1 personally? to ND embassy? Its been 70days since my sponsorship is approved, and havent heard a thing from ND. They are so slow!!! As per their website, they shud ve done the initial review in a month of sponsorship approval. Dono whats causing them delay to open the file. Do you think, its cos of year end? closing all back logs? And will there be any constraint that they shud process only these many files in a yr? Just thinkin of all possibilities.. going crazy

I dnt knw some sort of right to information act. Please guys come up with ideas if anybody who sent an email got any reply or any official link which can state what has happened to ND embassy. Have people resigned from the job are they looking for new staff..there must be some problem.....

Hey there guys if you do not hear anything by next tuesday by all means send an email for case specific inquiry , if anything atleast you will know how far along your files are , keep the inquiry short, you will only get a generic response back and dont worry about thinking emailing them might delay ur case even further cant get worse than it already is . I know the wait kills i had to wait 45 days for my wifes ppr before that the process was moving pretty fast . So I am for sure convinced since sep things have slowed down , they have been given more authority now with the new rules in place. Once again i would like to say that canadian high commisions throughout the world get audited for timelines if they say 80% cases finalised in 6 months then they have to make it happen so all I can say is set urselves a date of 6 months max from the date you guys applied and try and prepare Urselves anywhere close to that date hopefully its less than that , but atleast it will keep from constantly worrying .Every case is different and timelines are going to be different so just prepare ur selves and good luck

Thank you. We already have sent a case specific enquiry, but no response yet. And atleast if its 6months, am happy, I l get visa by march. But am scared it might even go beyond that, looking at the pace Delhi is moving.. U knw, they havent even opened our files!!!!!!!!! They shudnt be doing this, they shud update why its happening in the website atleast!

Don't panic guys, It is sure that they will send PPR only when everything is ready and just need PP to have stamp on it.

As they have stated 6 months for processing, very rare and complicate cases have been stretched to that timeline.
mostly have finished before it.

Have patience....

You application has transferred in Sept End, so you are having normal timeline...
Cheer up guys...
Don'y worry.. more you think like this, more difficult it will b to wait.

They held my PP for 3 months... and I was thinking that PP has sent and I'll b getting visa in 2 weeks.

Courier delivered means that your parcel\mail has been put into the PO BOX, they may take sign of a concerned person in Post office.

And yes courier service update everything. Like parcel reached Mumbai airport. Parcel received at delhi airport. Parcel delivered at this time. every detail you can have online.

Then every day the Post Man deliver every mail/ parcel of BOX to its owner or CHC person collects mail from PO box. it can be in either way.

And yes CHC should introduce the concept of acknowledgement receipts.

Don't worry guys, have patience.

@patience - congrats! very happy for u.

@sanyrog and adihanda - i can totally relate. it is frustrating that they are so slow and do not bother responding to update on procedural changes.
i noticed that file transfers done around mid-September and after are still waiting to here back. things slowed down at that point. because for most others, whose files were transferred to Delhi before mid-September, they received the PPR's within a month or so.
its been over 70 days in our case too. and it is scary to think we'll get the PPR and then may have to wait another 2-3 months to get the visa stamp. i sincerely hope that's not the case.

i'm open to ideas on what we can do. we sent an email last weeek, just received the automated response. is there another approach?

@sanyrog,sonia,adihanda:guys we cant do anything just keep on waiting for tuesdays......i know it that this tuesday also we are not going to get any update n we will again start waiting for next tuesday n this way 2010 will be over n i think they are just clearing backlogs n willl start our cases in 2011 n then take 2-3 mnths again after ppr to issue visa which is such a big torture...............i am getting frustrated day by day

If the application was sent via consultant or a lawyer... They tend to reply...
I know its not an answer but its an option....
