Hey Guys!!!

Got a letter from CHC-ND dated July 22 for PPR today...

Question for people with PPR....is it a standard computer generated letter asking for fee/old passport/police clearance??

now, guys...WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???
They never asked me for additional documents or proof or an interview...the IO opens file and surely checks if they need anything else from me...so this is kinda good news??

congrats! thats a gr8 news....i havent yet received any PPR yet and they started mine on july 14th....but u got it really quick....i wish i too get it soon ...

Relax Rachel! U will receive it very soon! Take into consideration postal delays as ur in south India.

When did they started ur case processing in delhi?? what it says in cic that we started ur case processing on which date?

Started processing July 21...letter was dated for July 22 (thursday)...

FYI - i look at the envelope, it was stamped on July 27 (Tuesday) from the Shantipath post office....so im guessing mail was floating around or not sent until Monday!

YOu know, you'd figure....you pay over 1K for this stuff and they cant send u speed post???

I have a doubt that I need your guys opinion on...Im not sure if your familiar with Indian Passports...on the back page it had you FATHER/MOTHER and WIFES name.

Now, I was issued a new passport in April this year (damaged), we were married last dec.....and her name is not on it....Do u think it maybe an issue with immigration or they may notice it???

sorry to ask U stayed in which part of punjab and u recieved the letter from delhi in 5 days?? i m n chandigarh so was just curious in how many days i will recieve the letter...

Anyone from Punjab have recieved the passport request, if yes in how many days u recieved the letter??

Relax Rachel! U will receive it very soon! Take into consideration postal delays as ur in south India.

I am trying my best not to worry...but u know its really difficult especially when people around you all get PPRs n stuff and me just waiting and watching them...but i know i cant make anything happen just by being worried...i will keep my fingers crossed and wait patiently.....
