Hi Ugoswife,Ugoswife said:Congratulations!! Good to see some good news. Quick question. During the process of your application, did you eCAs status change for example medicals, review of supporting documents, interview, background check etc or did you just suddenly see Decision made?

Now that the baby just received his 6th month immunization, I'm thinking of taking a trip back home with the baby to go see his dad. I kind of want to stay there till my maternity leave is over in june. Will it be a problem? Will we need to return here to complete the process?
Thanks dear. What if he gets his visa while we're there. Will we have to return before they can issue it or we can stay till he gets it and possibly return with him?peg204 said:This is really sad.
it hard having a baby and you're the only caring for him
but if thats how you're feeling then take the trip. it wont be a problem at all.

Please order GCM notes from CIC. That will provide you with a history of the file and what led the the decision made. With your notes in hand you can on the appeal that the officer's decision was wrong based on the reasons as per the notes. It IS WELL said:Hello all
I would like to thank you all for your contributions and advise. I got the much awaited letter from AVO today, but sadly my wife was refused visa based on the fact that our marriage was not genuine which is a blatant lie. I have instructed my lawyer to file an appeal because I know and I am sure that when the appeal is heard here in Canada we will prevail. I am here in Canada and I have a kind of idea how the law is interpreted and people are treated not all these visa officers based in Africa that see Africans as liars. Feel for us but do not pity us for one thing I know is "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and all the embassies including their staff. God has joined us together and they AVO cannot keep us apart. Draw faith from this case and do not say sorry for we are not candidates of sorry but WINNERS. Thank you all. I promise to keep you updated.
You should go and spend time with him and come back with him when he receives his COPR. If you are a Canadian Citizen register online (https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/registration) and confirm with Embassy when you get to your Husband's Country that you have actually come to spend time with him. That can only help your application.colmiz said:Today marks one year since I last saw my husband( yes, it's been a year). I've given birth within that one year. My husband has never held his son.
