Permanent Residence

We received xxxx xxxxx xxxxx application for permanent residence on November 23, 2015.
We started processing xxxx xxxxx xxxxx application on April 22, 2016.
No SA nor AOR2 till date.
please advice?

It can't hurt to try, but from my understanding they can be difficult to obtain. You need to do a lot to prove strong ties to your home country to convince the visa officers that you will return once your visitor visa is expired (ie. job, land/property ownership, etc.).

are u saying 9 months from Application Filed or from File Transfer to VO?

Yes, as Mandie said, 9 months from the time the application was filed. A much better figure than what is listed on the CIC website, but still so long to wait. You are a September applicant...your time is coming near

No problem Yes, remain patient and positive. If you are a September applicant then you have already made it through the majority of the processing time and the end is now in sight.

You might not get AOR2, if you see the above on the Permanent Residence section it means you have your SA already. All you have to do now is just pray and wait. Any other person can clarify if i missed anything

Samuel needs to relax from now on. His application has been transferred to AVO and he won't hear anything unless AVO needs additional docs. I know it's hard but we should believe the process will be sooner than we thought. Good luck everyone.

Thank you, I thought of it too but I don't want to be over confident about it bcos I did my police report and medicals July 22 and medicals July 24 ,2015.

though i have been praying for no new police report or remedical..

Yes, we did request the GCMS notes which indicated the medical had been passed. They still requested remedical though, about two months after my husband's had expired.

nicolemariemac ....so there was no where that indicated that ur medical due date is example: if u did ur medicala in Feb then u have it until July? Because we requested for our GCMS and the due date for our medical to be expired is 2016 Nov 11 wen we did the medical in July 4th...why isn't showing us that plz?

I am not really sure about that. Our GCMS notes showed the validity date as being one year from the time he had his first medical, with a "due date" of July 2016, but they still asked him to redo his medical before they issued the PPR. I don't really know how that works..

Please do i need to write on the envelope that the application is for "Outland Spousal sponsorship" or not? cuz it doesn't have an option for that, am inside canada applying for Outland... thank you
