Super Visa - anyone applied as yet?

one thing i want to know..if my sister is applying for super visa for my parents in dec 2013 ..she is applying on basis of all documents ,income,n NOC of 2012..bcz NOC of 2013 will come in 2014 so...does she need to show income of 2013 or 2012 cos all papers n NOC are of 2012...
she is apply on basis of 2012..
does VO will ask for the income of 2013 cos she doesnt fulfill income requiremnts as 2013,2013 income is below the requirmnts,but 2012's income is ok

It is fine she can apply on basis of 2012 Tax papers. However for current year she can always submit the employment letter, paystubs or herself and her husband. Bank Statement

ya she can just put 2012 notice or assessment and T4. I had same situation. I had enough income in 2012 but not in 2013 so I applied for super visa in Nov. i just put NOA and T4 of 2012..thats it...just keep things simple..do not add too many doc. bcoz once you give them NOA then they will have your SIN no and they can access all your history.

Recently i have applied for Mom sponsored by my elder brother from Canada.

After 13 days of application Singapore VO has sent the below Medical Request today without any attachment.

"This is in reference to your application for a temporary resident visa to visit Canada.

Please submit the following outstanding item(s) within 30 days from the date of this email.

• Medical instructions are being issued to you on an at-your-own-risk basis, prior to the approval of your application. Completion of a medical exam now will reduce the processing time of your application, if it is approved.

If you do not comply with this request within thirty days from the date of this email, we will presume that you are no longer interested in pursuing your application and your file will be closed. We hope to hear from you soon.

I know the CIC approved medical clinics, but how she can make medical without any form or Passport (as it has submitted with application). Where should she submit the report, she dont have any UCI or other file number yet. Please suggest. Only 30 days timeline! Please advise...

there should be a UCI number at the top left hand corner of this letter, take this letter with you to the panel physician and they will do the rest.

Has anyone applied for super visa recently at Islamabad embassy ? I am waiting since November and there is no update since then.

My dad applied for Canada super visa in HongKong in mid September, 2013, received letter to go for medical exam by end of September. Went and did his medical exam on Oct. 3, 2013. Since he had tobercolusis 30 years ago, according to Canada immigration procedure he must wait for 8 weeks to go for another x-ray, so he did the 2nd x-ray on Dec. 4, 2013. The doctor claimed the medical report has been sent to the visa office in HongKong on Dec. 16. However as of today (Jan. 12, 2014) no news at all. I understand there was Christmas holidays, but could anyone please let me know whether this is normal time frame? We emailed immigration but never received a reply. Thanks!

There is no such as normal time frame. If additional testing is required it will take as long as required to satisfy Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
All you can do is wait.

Has anyone's parent come to Canada on Super Visa with 2 year's stay permit? When my mom entered Canada in 2012 on Super Visa; she was allowed for regular 6 month stay. As she was leaving in 3 months; I did not care to extend it.

Now when she comes again this year; I want her to stay longer. Since she doesn't speak English; will a letter from me asking for 2-year stay permit on Super Visa suffice? Please, suggest whoever had been in such situation.

Another thing I want to ask is about return ticket. Bangladeshi travel agencies don't normally sell one-way tickets to Canadian tourists. Has anyone overcome such difficulties?

my mother came with a one way ticket with my brother(brother is a PR, mother had a multiple TRV) with PIA, but there is a long layover in Karachi, think around 16 hours or so. CBSA officers didn't ask anything.
