It's been 7 weeks since my father completed his part 2 of the medical exam. Still no news from Canada immigration visa office in HongKong regarding his supervisa application status. Is this normal? We are desperate! Anyone had similar situation?

My dad applied for Canada super visa in HongKong in mid September, 2013, received letter to go for medical exam by end of September. Went and did his medical exam on Oct. 3, 2013. Since he had tobercolusis 30 years ago, according to Canada immigration procedure he must wait for 8 weeks to go...

Hopefully we hear something soon... ;)
