Sponsoring Parents in 2015

Hi,

I hope some one can help me:

Parents are in Canada on TRV and now received email for additional tests to be done. Med was done 1.5 weeks ago in home country.

Please suggest what should be done in this case?

I'm in the same boat. My parent's RPRF and PCs were received by Ankara office on June 13. No news since then.

Any news from other centers (other than Ottawa)? My file was sent to Ankara for processing and no news after medical....

You can get it done here by going to authorized doctor for CIC.
Take the email and/or forms received so the doctor can see and let you do the tests

Hello Friends, just wanted to share that I have received medical, PCC, Schedule, Landing Fee and Travel History form request yesterday from New Delhi oFFICE. We will be sending document this weekend. Just wanted to let you guys know and thank you for your support.

Also someone can confirm if below is the correct address of the New Delhi Embassy where we should be sending these document.

I am wondering how long it takes for the SS check for your sponsorship application. As per the GCMS notes, CIC is still waiting for SS check result from Markham office for our sponsorship application and it's been six month now. Could you please shed some light? Thank u.

I applied for my Mom and brother in 2015 Jan and we were all 5 (3+2)members. and I meet income requirements for 2011, 2012 and 2013. But I have new born in 2015 Dec.

1)Will CIC consider 6 members for last 3 years (2011, 2012, 2013)
or
2)6 members from 2015 onwards. Please advise.

Please search GCMS Notes on the CIC website and the first link is where u to make a request under the Access to Information Act.

It takes about 30 days and cost $5 to get the detail information about your application.

Hi .... As per my understanding a sponsor has to fulfill income requirements for preceding 3 years for all family members before he files an application, but if there is an addition in family then the new income requirements will be considered from year of birth so in your case new income requirements will be considered from 2015 onwards.

Question for you.... have you informed CIC about your new born child?

Any news from Ottawa lately? I have submitted everything and waiting for passport request but it seems there's not much movement going on there these days.

hello everyone i have a question and hopefully somebody can help me - i will sponsor my mom and her common law partner in 2017 january! can we send with application form police certificate and medical so everything happens faster? or they will ask again! because my understanding police certificate and medical is good for 2 years.

I wouldn't do that as police certificate is valid for six months whereas medical results are valid for a year.
