Sure basharar, I'll keep you informed!! I just called up the CIC help line. They informed me that I can see the status after the working on application date (@ cic website - processing time) is equal or close to the date my application reached CIC. I guess its going to take atleast another 6 - 8 weeks

Can any one let me tell the procedure for PR renewal, from where i can get the application. I am living in Calgary so where do i submit the application and what are the documents which I have to gather and enclosed it with the application.

21685, sorry I can't post the link here. Google "PR card renewal" and click the first instance of CIC website showing up and then click Replace or renew a PR card. You get all the information and follow the process as explained.

Hi russ007, was your case ever shown in the eCAS? Since the status page shows that the applications till May 2, 2014 has been opened for processing. And yours was in the mid of May, but still you got the PR card. I don't understand the logic.

Any news for the PR renewal process, it is now over than 3 months and no ecas update.

nothing, going into 4 month now and No update, they haven't bothered to update there site either for 3 weeks, it should be updated weekly.... so frustrating.

The CIC updated the status today. Like before they have put a wrong date stating that this update was done on Sep, 20th, 2014. basharar, I guess we will be in for the next update. OMG its getting nervous

yes, i just noticed! Fingers crossed, i don't know what to say anymore...

Called up CIC today - the automatic answering machine says that they are dealing with applications received until May 22nd, 2014. :

Not good, that means they processed two days in 10 days...

another 7 = 70 days :-\ :'( no, another 35 days, isn't?

One more update in the CIC site. It just increased by a day from May 20th to May 21st. The waiting time increases to 157 days. :-[ from 151 days.

Tonight my application showed up on ecas, received may 28. Candon keep me updated.
