Hello. I am looking into immigrating from USA to Canada. My current job is US 100% remote. If my employer allows me to work in Canada, does the express entry allow this? I understand that it seems that most require a job in Canada but I don't see anything about remote work. Is there any option that I can come to Canada with a remote job from US?

Express Entry is permanent immigration so once PR, you can work for employer remotely. Are you US citizen?

Do you mean after you have been approved for PR? If so, you are good to go.

If you are asking whether you can claim your US job as a job offer for the purposes of immigrating to Canada, the answer to that is no.

Thank you. So basically in order to immigrate to Canada, I need to leave my current job and get a Canadian job? There is no path to keep my current job?

No you can keep your job but you must be eligible to immigrate and your score high enough to be invited based on your age, education, language, skilled work experience and funds. Google Express Entry and do some research.

Yes, I've seen there are 3 options for Express Entry but it seems based on getting a job within Canada.

No, I didn't say that at all. I said that you cannot use your US job as a job offer for the purposes of immigrating to Canada. There are ways of immigrating without a job offer if you score enough points / meet the right requirements.

This is incorrect. I think you need to dedicate more time to researching the various programs.
