QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Hi Guys!

Fisrt of all best of luck for those trying to come to Quebec.
I did the process and I have just landed in Canada. Now I would like to be reunited to my fiance who is a brazilian guy living in London/UK.
We are planning our marriage for very soon but I need some advice from a senior member!!??

He has 2 graduations: one in business administration and the other in Law.
He also has MBA in finance and good work experience.
He did the evaluation test on line and it was positive.

Questions

1- Can he apply for economic class for quebec skilled worker as spouse of a PR living in Montreal?
2- We are engaged so we need to know if its better for him to apply as single before our marriage or after it ?
3- Does he need to prove that he has a good level of french at the moment of the application? (he's just started to study french and he is going soon to live in France for a while to be ready for the interview)


We think it can be easier for him applying as skilled worker than if I sponsor him after our wedding.

Please help me!!!!
We are almost done with the forms and documents... but I didn't want to send it before having your your point of view

Hi, does Quebec send intent to refuse csq application before refusal or do they outrightly reject candidates without warning?

Hello all, please I need some help regarding an issue although I posted this on another thread on this forum before but I only got a single response but I feel this thread might be the best as its Quebec related.
My application for CSQ got to BIQ-Paris on the 10th of January and my qualification is on the Preferred List of Training (Biochemistry) which ought to give it a priority but as at today my payment which was made through a credit card is yet to be charged and as such no AOR yet. Has anyone made payments via Credit Card to Paris before and it was charged without any issues as I am beginning to think probably there might be an issue with my Credit Card because I believe by now I should have heard from them or is it that I am impatient.

I ALSO APPLIED IN PARIS FOR MY CSQ IN DECEMBER 2010 LAST MONTH AND STILL PAYMENT NOT MADE FROM MY CREDIT CARD SO DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT IT WILL TAKE 2-3 MONTHS TO TAKE YOUR PAYMENT. BECAUSE THEY WILL CHECK YOUR ALL DOCUMENTS AFTER THAT THEY WILL TAKE PAYMENT AND THEN THEY WILL SEND YOUR AOR .

I have tried this and I was excited the first few times I got responses. However, even though it is meant for persons resident outside canada, the employers for some reason expected me to be IN Canada. They also want to see canadian experience. To me this is a catch 22, so I hope MICC realises this and does something to sensitise canadian employers. Did anyone else have a similar experience?

JUST SEND YOUR ATTESTED DOCUMENTS (ACEDEMIC, DATE OF BIRTH, INTERNSHIP ETC )AND ORIGINAL LETTER FROM YOUR EMPLOYER IF POSSIBLE. THEY WILL CHECK YOUR ORIGINAL AT THE TIME OF INTERVIEW.

I need to know that whether we have to send all the "copies" of our work experiences and internships certificates attested by legal authority or do we have to send the "original" certificates of them for quebec immigration?

It depends on your visa office. What's yours?

In the beginning my application will go to the Hong Kong visa office,and afterward if i receives CSQ then it will go to London for medical and security checks... Please suggest me which documents should be sent in original and which should be in attested copies?

as far as HK embassy is concerned for CSQ...u need not send any original documents...attested photocopies would suffice!!

They don't immediately put your application in fast track once you submitted it. They'll put it on priority once they have opened it and it gets sorted out. Processing of papers really depends on the amount of application immigration offices receive. Be patient. Once they charge your credit card then that's the date that they start processing your papers.

we r all in the same boat, i applied in Nov. 2010 at Pairs office and i sent them bank draft.. but still no answer... even i tried to reach them through phone and emails but unfortunate no luck....
we need to pray and have patience... i heard they r still opening the july cases so i think u can imagine our turn will come after how long....

Guys please I need urgent response.

The experience I am claiming - 1 year work experience is with a multi-national company and they do not provide job descriptions or references; they have written me a formal letter explaning this which i have forwarded to the Quebec Immigration Office.

But I fear I will be refused for no job description and not given the points for that. Should I swear affidavit that I did those tasks??? Nobody in the company can write me a letter.
