What will be with applicants who has already got the response that they are put on the interview waiting list?

Maybe this modification makes the interview cancellation of many people in Manila.

until now i have been really positive through out this immigration process but now i am really tensed, i have spent money time and lots of energy in this, but first lost 4 points from Aot and now this 6 points of adaptability dont know whats gonna happen.

If u have 49/57 already without interview then you need not panick. Indeed it is a good news and no more interview pressure unless they need to verify document quality. New final passing scores are trimmed by 6 points. Cheer up

The website says the new rules apply to both new applications and those already received.

How will these new point system affect ppl that are on interview waitlist? Will they look at our points and issue csq directly?

I think so, although I have no specific information or source for that.

I think my situation is rather unique. Interview waitlist since Dec 2014. July I received an email to submit language certificate which I don't have and telephone number (work & cell) and I responded accordingly. the email also stated that the file did not warrant an interview if i submit the language cert. They acknowledge receipt and said that they were not sure when a mission would come to my country. 2 days later I wrote and requested a telephone interview and received an email which stated that the request cannot be granted because I don't have sufficient points for that request.

With this new development and point system how will they make a decision? I am rather confused now!!

Why they asked language certificate? At the time of application you did not submit it? Or they asked new one?

I did not submit a French certificate......only english

I think many of us did not submit franch certificate. And a lot of candidate got CSQ without it if point is gained.
Why they asked franch certificate from you? Is your point is not satisfactory?
What is your point according to your calculation as per existing rule?

Not certain why they asked for French certificate? I am not sure what my points are.....don't know how to accurately calculate it
