pnp paper based applicant, not seeing ppr soon. is it okay if i apply extension of work permit through mycic ?

If you are less than 16 or 17 months in to waiting.... please do apply for WP extension. and by "mycic" you mean online, yes you can.

My WP expires in March 2017 and hopefully i will not have to renew WP lol . I am already in to 13 months waiting.

I got wp support letter from bcpnp and it says" Exemption from Labour Market Impact Assessment" and when i was fill the application from it says i need Offer of Employment (LMIA Exempt) number , i am 14 months into the application and my employer know i will be running when i get my pr. Is there any way i can avoid Offer of Employment (LMIA Exempt) number and apply for work permit

About 20,000 Syrian Refugee applications are in process which is a lot. CIC should update the processing time if they are so bothered by constant enquiries. I have experienced a lot of what I would say was absolute unfairness all the way. Immigration is not a right but what happened to their Services Standards given on their website. Delays affect people's lives in many ways.

I asked the agent and was told everything is passed including background check.
Except for that, i am totally in the same boat with u.
I think when u ordered gcm notes is a while ago and yours should be done by now.

My spouse applied for my PR when I was in India. I moved to USA on work visa in April 2016. Do I need to inform NDVO that I have moved to USA. If yes, how?
When I receive PPR request, should I courier my passport to India from USA?
Also, now that I am in USA since April, do I need to provide PCC from USA also?

Hi ske21,

Yes you have to update all your information thru case specific inquiry online and get your FBI asap just incase they will request it soon save time for waiting when fbi would be release. if you will get pasport request you can send it to the nearest visa office near your location. Hi Gvince!

For your work permit extension if it happened that your nomination was already expired you have to renew it again and that serves as an attachment for your application. You dont need LMIA if you have PR on process. And your employer has to pay employers compliance fee of 250. That's the only requirement that i know u need for extension for work permit.

Background check went from "Not Started" to "In Progress" at around 14:00 this afternoon and then just 2 hours later I RECEIVED PPR E-MAIL ;D

This is such a great day for me.

I guess it´s kind of useless at this point, but I just requested my GMCS notes. let´s see, I wish I would receive PPR before the notes, but I am not very optimistic considering what some people are saying....

I had had ordered too about 1 1/2 before. On GCMS FAQ, it says that it is common that people order 3-4 times during the process and it sometimes helps in pushing forward your file.

I did the same... I got my first GCMS notes on 16th aug and I reapplied on the same day. I am supposed to get my GCMS notes by this friday... plus my MP made a call 10 days ago... so hopefully all these together make CIC agent to send me ppr....

Yeah man, I hope it helps or at least make them see that everything is done and damn move their ass and make a decision.
