Just now called one more doctor in Chicago and she is even better

220 per adult all inclusive (xray, Mailing fee, examination)
Despo,

I have not yet received my nomination but I am curious. Does the existing health insurance cover any of the medical expenses ? Most plans have wellness covered. Does anyone from the CIC folks have an answer to my question.

Not sure about any insurance covering immigration medical check up. Even if it is covered i think doctors dont accept insurance for immigration check up.

As far as I know, health insurance will not cover the immigration medical expenses. Ours did not cover and what I have learned from other forum discussions that nobody has been able to use the health insurance to cover for the immigration medical.

My kids did not need any labs/x-rays. All they needed is physical checkup and the doctor would not accept their insurance and he would not also let them go to their regular doctor to have the physical done. Had to pay cash $130 per kid and $358 per adult. Our medicals were done in Utah.

No need to print any additional forms... just take the pictures and show up to the appointment with your family and $$$$ :))... don't forget to request the tracking number for your medicals... so you can track them when they arrive to Ottawa

good luck!!!!

HI despoimmigrant,
yours and mine is almost the same timeline. here is my timeline

Application sent to Visa Office : 22th June 2009
Visa office received Date : 24th June 2009
Cash Encashed (Both Application and Right of landing fee) : 13th July 2009
Medical Received Date : 22nd August 2009.

just trying to check if i am not missing anything, the letter i received from cic has 4 pages the 1st page is about your file has been placed in queue on the back page is change in personal information form. the remaining 3 pages is about the medical instruction along with medical report form(stapled). Is this all we need this time? now we just go to the designated medical practioner and they will send the report . we dont have to send anything on our own this time. Is there anything more we need to do buddy?
