CIC Nanaimo has just called me to go in for an INFORMAL Interview on Monday ..
She just asked me to bring in my passport, my marriage certificate, kids canadian citizenship cards., home ownership papers!. I asked her if i can bring photos.. She said NO!... she said my file was transferred by MISTAKE!!... But she will do it all there ie she wont even interview us and it will take 15 minutes. I think she just wants to double check !!/... WOOOO HOO!!...

Well you never know BB.. It may be a PR since you mentioned earlier that your RCMP and CSIS checks were done in October..

I definitely agree with adzees. Also a PR interview only takes 15 minutes so you just never know. I mean just a while ago you were so worried about being transferred and now your dreams/wishes have come true. I mean how often does CIC admit that they messed up and apologize on top of that? That is just amazing. I bet they are so apologetic that you get PR.

Congratulations, BB!..
I told you she was going to call you soon.
And you will be landed on monday, I am positive about that.
Like you pointed out from your FOSS notes, security clearance has been completed... It's a landing appointment. Although in theory, the sponsor is also asked to attend the landing appointment, but I know of one applicant who was contacted for the landing appointment here in Oshawa without the sponsor and without an appointment... I have a feeling Nanaimo could be like Oshawa: magical!.
Time to celebrate and be merry.... just in time for the holidays...

Thanks everyone for the good wishes ... As you can guess, I am obviously SUPER excited and hubby STILL doesnt know!!... i feel like i will burst though. . I need ideas on how i should tell him!. he is coming from work in abt 3.5 hrs and its taking every strength in my body not to call him!..hahahaha..

i didnt expect to be called for an interview this fast.. but it was obviously a really slow, small friendly office . Looks like it will will be A.I.P. I dont know abt PR although stranger things have happened (ie man has gone to the moon!) and they have done or are doing my CSIS and RCMP checks as shown in my FOSS notes...soo..... yeah but i wont be too hopeful. To be honest AIP is good for me!. I just need to be able to work and drive!... I dont have any travel plans in the near future.. so i can wait an extra 2/3 months ... i mean i was expecting to wait for another 6 months!.so this is excellent!..

I have learnt alot!. i hope someone in my situation will benefit from my experience one day when they read this!.
I am still here people. i will not leave you or turn off my account if thats what it is!.. you all cant get rid of me that fast as yet ...
