Try calling CIC. They may help in telling you the actual status of your application

Just received TEST Invite on Apr 30 at Scarborough Office.

I live in Mississauga and was wondering why test is scheduled at Scarborough...

Also, the letter color is BLUE... any idea...

MJM, I live in Brampton, further from Scarborough than you but my test is scheduled there on the April 28. so we never know why they make their choices. We just hope it will be faster!

ar_fabrics , i knew it was Scarborough because i called CIC before receiving the test invitation. But my ecas has never shown where my file was transferred to

OK. Actually now when we check our ECAS then detail show name & date of transfer to local office. Best wishes

No indication on my eCAS about local office and I never called CIC. My family had their files processed at Mississauga office last year so I thought it would be same...

Anyway, we hope it is for good...

My file is in Scarborough office since January 13th. It says "In Process".

Waiting for test invite, haven't heard anything from them yet. :-[

No, looking at everyone's experiences here, they will eventually tell me that it is due for background checks. I'll wait for 2 more weeks before giving them a call.

I got my notice to appear for the Citizenship test today! It sure was nice to see the brown envelop waiting for me in my mailbox! ;D
