The application was received by them on Dec 02, 2013...

It can take 6 months from now to get your passport back with visa, on average.

We received passport with VISA today.

Last 3 Mondays have been lucky for us. We have been regularly checking out e-cas everyday:

First Monday Feb 24th - we got updated on e-cas for medical results received
Second Monday Mar 3rd - We got DM but as per e-cas update file went in IP on 28th Feb
Third Monday Mar 10th - Passport received with visa.

Only thing that we did extra without NDVO request was to send out the Quebec Selection Certificate before hand with all to-date call details, emails, letters, card and a formal letter to NDVO. Previously, we had just submitted our application with 1 month of call details and lots of pics, and some bills & receipts. We submitted application 2 months after wedding. We got DM 1 month before our wedding date. So people who are waiting my advise would be to submit additional details of ongoing relation without NDVO even ask you to do so, as it really help to reach a quick decision by NDVO. Also, it make their lives easier. Take care guyzzzz, and good luck to all waiting applicants - especially mangess, i wish god give you some good news in coming week.

PPR: 19th Aug
IP: February 28, 2014.
Medical results have been received: Feb 24

I got my notes and as expected 'interview is required' (the usual suspects age difference, family background and previous relationship - before anyone ask age difference is over 10). No condolences, please. I can face interview, it is the delay part that makes me mad. They did not look at my file till Feb 10th. Now medicals and pcc expiring this month and no interview date yet. God knows how long will it take to a get an interview date and if medicals and pcc need to be redone then the delay is forever..then the issue of security and criminal checks have not been started...forum members who have been waiting to hear from NDVO from Feb until now (for Feb 2013 - May 2013 applicants), you will most likely have interview. Order notes and you will see whole history of your lives and why interview is required.

I am sure you will pass with flying colours because you have the strength to face the NDVO idiots head on. And you have been living with your wife so you have lots of proof that your relationship is genuine. And it is really unfair that they delayed taking so long to update you about the status of your application and looked through your file so long after. Give them a tight slap on our behalf after you get your visa following your interview, so that they will get onto the right track.

Make sure u type the address same as billing of yr credit card. I don't see any other reason why it would not go through... Type everything in capitals... May b it works

thanks desi-girl...I can't wait to face ND visa officers and show them that this relationship can't be more genuine and real..I was wondering who would take over Myrah's slapping activities after she had moved to Canada. Now that you have been officially authorized to use that 'slap them' expression, we are all free to follow your advice...lol

Did MP inquiry. Really helpful. They told me that our file is in line for an interview; but no dates yet. Just hope to get the interview soon. We were prepared for this as I am divorced with a child. But just hoping that we get an interview date soon.

one possibility that happened for me is use of correct address to match bank's database....I am not sure about your bank but my bank asks for address as additional secure proof measure...I was using current mailing address but never bothered to change address with the bank...assuming your entry of password and userid with credit card company are all valid, call your credit card company to ask why it is failing....sometimes it could be electronic transactions problems sometimes machines fail even though you have entered everything correct..try some other time...

order notes and it will reveal the reason (it will be implied not direct...like sponsor's date of birth is so and so and sponsored person's DOB is so and so...so now you know that it is a concern for them)

passport request : Jan 24
Passport sent on Feb 24 and same was received by Delhi commission on Feb 26, 2014.
Status still shows application received. Can someone tell me long does it take fr it to change to DM?

the DM part is for the sponsor.(ur hubby).. the next DM is for yours... and that will take ~8 months...

what were the reasons quoted in the notes for you?

It should say something on ecas like we received your application for permanent residence on (mm.dd.yy) after your application got approval. Does it say that too?
