Guys, is anyone flying from Chennai to Calgary before June ??

Received passport with a visa :D :D :D But the sad thing is im leaving today and my wife will be traveling after 2 weeks. I didn't get extension for my vacation... but still we got the visa !!!!!

Finally it happened for me :) Status changed to In Process :D They have started processing on April 26th. Waiting for DM ;D ;D

Happpy wedding anniversary buddy.... I didnt want to miss my first wedding anniversary so im heading to india now... actually msging from frankfurt :P Hopefully we will get a reply soon... we both are just a week difference...

This week was quiet except couple of my friends here in Calgary got their passport back... Hopefully this week might have lots of updates :)

It happened to me as well. Got rejected twice for visitor visa and then applied for PR. But very few lucky chaps will get visitor visa for their spouse. Like 2 of my friends brought their wife as visitor when they are PR here ! strange but stupid ndvo

Chinmayee - we dont have to inform CIC. I am infact travelling next week for my wedding anniversary:) I am not going to inform them.

On of my friend applied on July 9th got DM just few minutes back... he never got IP or even medicals received....it was a direct DM :)

I doubt that. Its just the rumor some guys create. NDVO will process application in the same speed and we will all get updates soon. Good Luck Guys :)

Have you sent your additional family form? Did you forget to write names in native language?

We are all in same boat... mine says just application received and no medicals updated...

Second marriage and different native languages is what I think as red flag for you... but dont worry prepare well for the interview as NDVO is getting crazier everyday and asking stupid questions... Good Luck !!
