The wait time is almost over just hang in everyone...
I have a quick question...
When u apply u get a UCI no on ur name( SPONSOR) and your spouse in India when they get the PPR they get a UCI number
do you check for your UCI for further updates or ur wife( PRINCIPLE APPLICANT) in India.

Correction , sponsor doesnt get UCI, i hope all sponsor's usually have a UCI (except when sponsor is citizen and contacts CIC for first time)
Spouse in India (principal applicant) gets UCI in case of AOR or PPR from NDVO.

After file is transferred to ND, you have to only check E-CAS with spouse(principal applicant) UCI and other information. alternatively you can use application number and other information of applicant .

My case was transferred on 12/04/13 .....my ecas still says application received on 19/03/13 ( it's the date on which cic missisuaga received my file)....after how many days will ecas change to file received by VO and medicalise received?

Medical requested - Letter dated - 24th Jan 2013 received by my husband on 29th Jan 2013
Medical done - 4th Feb 2013
Passport requested - 9th March 2013
Passport sent - 9th March 2013
Passport received by CIC delhi - 11th March 2013
E-cas: "We received your application for permanent residence on January 7, 2013. Medical results have been received."
Current Status as on 26th April 2013 - Awaiting PR

Just a note : I also had to sponor my adopted child 10 years back therefore they had already had a "file" on me from then . So I had a UCI number already, now the spouses file in is in NDVO I see he's been issues his own number .

According to my case sponsor and the one who has been sponsored both of them got their individual UCI numbers. My husband is the one who has sponsored me, we both have individual UCI numbers and I can check status about the PRV application using any of the UCI numbers along with the rest of the combination.

Say for eg. If I use my husband's UCI number then I would enter his last name, dob and pob as a combination and can still get the same information when I use my UCI number along with my details as a combination. Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Don't worry. May be it is a positive thing. If they are delaying the PPR, could be in the background they are almost finalizing your application and when there is a PPR, there is no wait. You just get the stamped VISA right away.

Always have the positive hopes. It will bring the positive energy

BTW...was there any travel history on the PA passport

U got ppr 24 days after SA.....hopefully I will get ppr within 2 weeks...lets play the waiting game

Guys if you have travel history dont expect your passport to be with you in 2 weeks as the ones who have travel history minimum time they take is 1 - 2 months after you apply your passport, they inquire about every country you visited so dont get upset with situation and just wait for your time... No matter how long this wait is make sure you will meet you beloved in the end... gud luck to all... (if you ever plan to marry a canadian or PR of canada then dont travel outside india till you apply to get your application fast and smooth ) kidding people... gud morning and gud luck to all...

u remember i was talking to you about my the UCI number not working whereas my application number works... It was mainly because i was doing a mistake in entering the info.. i was actually punching in my husband's UCI number along with my details... Silly me...
