Got a phone call last night from my MP saying that my husband got his visa!!! I just received a copy of the reply my MP received from Delhi. As per the email the decision has been made on July 9th and the passport should be sent to my husband shortly!

I can't believe the wait is almost over. Still don't see a change on Ecas but that's okay, I've got it in writing!

I am wife of Canadian citizen.My husband submitted file under family class sponsorship for me as spouse & my dependent children on 30th December 2011. He received file back in Feb.2012 due to incomplete family background form of children who are above 18 yrs. He re submitted with necessary documents on 1st march 2012 received acknowledge letter from Mississauga.& status shown application received. An Email received by my husband on 28th June 2012 regarding his sponsorship eligibility & file send by them to Delhi.Me & dependent children are waiting eagerly for visa . Please tell us something.We want to be reunited after long separation.Till tpday we did not receive any message & the status still shows application received on 30th Dec. 2011.

Hi,

They should send you an email for passport request soon though. They took a month of the time for me once my file reached New Delhi. You will be fine. Also CHC New Delhi do not update online status even when you get an interview. So do Not Worry about that part.

If you have got your AOR then wait for your approval letter. The approval letter will mention the date your file transfer to New Delhi VO. From that date allow up to 3 to 5 weeks to get the PPR. I hope this helps.

I was looking for the forum of new delhi applicants under family class and got this one!! Its such an informative and lively forum!

btw, just to add that I got my PPR today. It took almost 1 month to issue PPR after my file was transferred to ND.

Below are my file stats:

Category........: FAM
Visa Office......: New Delhi
App. Filed.......: 27-02-2012
File X'r to ND...: 15-06-2012
Interview........: Waived
Passport Req..: 13-07-2012.

Request the moderator to include my info in the excel sheet.

Ecas shows my canadian address along my husbans's indian address. Just waiting to see the DM appear and passport to arrive to feel truly relieved.
