Actually you are both right if you look at the CIC website, it says that Mississauga takes 91 days to get Spousal sponsorship approved, then 8 months for Delhi to approved PR. And if you look on CIC India, it's 6 months only fr PR.

I don't know when you first inquire with your MP and got told your application is in final review but if I was you, I would check again with your MP. In my case I waited 3 weeks before contacting the MP again and we got the visa approved after that! All the best and hope you'll get it very...
