Hi everyone...I am from Philippines working under live in caregiver program here in Toronto. Early of 2013 I met a Canadian guy and now engaged and hopefully get marry this coming summer. My concern is...can I marry this guy even I am under caregiver program?or I should finish first the 24 months before I get marry?Im really confuse of my situation...Thank you so much to any advice I can get in this forum...God Bless and a fruitful New Year to everyone....

There is no restriction on marrying someone (be that Canadian/PR or Non-Resident) and it will affect in anyway your LCP.

Getting married won't change your status in Canada. You'll still be in Canada under a live-in caregiver permit.

If you want permanent residency, then your fiance will have to sponsor you once you are married.
