At long last, we finally received the magical email today of sponsorship approval. No AOR, just the approval email. It came from the Ottawa pilot office.

We're rooting for all the May applicants still waiting for approval. It's coming soon.

Got the notification today that I've met the requirements as a sposor!!! E-mail stated that the application has been sent to Ottawa for processing of permanent residence, any ideas on their timeline or will it be the same as what is online for Buffalo?

The date of your approval is the date deemed your file to be transferred to the applicable VO by "diplomatic courier">

my boyfriend managed to get through They said they are still in the progress of reviewing it but we will hear VERY soon, the guy kept repeating it would be VERY soon!! ahh! I hope that means by the end of the day haha

They said to keep checking his inbox! So hopefully that means it will be a nice quick email.

Thanks for the encouragement! I hope so too!! I've always had this feeling that today would be the day, because it's exactly 3 months after we submitted the app.. but another girl I met in the forum also submitted her app on the same day and she already got her approval on July 17, exactly 1 month ago..

I'll keep my fingers crossed for the few of us who are still left in the May spreadsheet!!! *Positive thoughts!*

congrats!!!! approval is usually anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks for the sponsor!!!!! it may come via email or snail mail.......just start checking ecas in a couple of days.....

For me, it's been more than a month now since the AOR, but no word about sponsorship decision yet.

Me too Siddi, I called yesterday and my file has been open for over 2 weeks now and no decision. Received April 30. I'm totally eligible for sponsorship. ??? I don't know what's taking so long. :'(
