Hi riverrock, you HAVE to land before your medicals expire (they are good for 1 year). So you will have to land in/before November 2013. You can, however, land and leave the country immediately and move at another point. Hope this helps!

Thank you bonitanita!! :) No, we just arrived at the US border, told them that we wanted to spend a day in the US and that I would land as a PR in Canada upon return. Then I had to go into the building, give my fingerprints and pay $6 for the visa waiver which is valid for 90 days.

My COPR came today!!! It was issued on the 14th, sent on the 16th, and ecas changed on the 18th! Will be landing next week, just have to wait for hubby's next day off. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!!
