Does anyone know if I have my own UCI client id the one i used on the Imm1344 form to validate, can I login to CIC and check the status of my application or do I have to wait for a specific UCI id they give me upon approval of my application??

You only have to put your questions in one thread and you will get an answer.

No you have to wait for an AOR or approval letter for your UCI.

canadiangirl78 is right, you can use your UCI number from another CIC application. I'm in the same boat. But don't fret too much over it now. I think it will be a while before it will start working for May applicants. I also have a UCI number, and it is not working yet. The notice on the eCAS system states that it will only start working when they actually start processing it, which is around 3 months after they actually receive the package.

I keep telling myself that patience is a virtue these days! I know it's difficult, but unless we find some sort of a distraction and let the time pass, we will feel every minute passing as if it is an hour.

I checked on the website, using our UCI (i thought it was the number of Canadian Citizenship), and it was there were i found that it should be an 8 digit number (different) documents. i supouse that UCI code is unique, so it is the code you stated on the form IMM1344.

you press Continue, agree with the conditions and agreements and it will appear the page where you can put your code, and so on.

my friends they are still around these dates:

miss office - Feb 15 - Feb 20 ish dates

ottawa office - Mar 12 - Mar 17 ish dates <--- some files got sent here and some more will be sent here aswell in future

i say this from people's confirmations of responses from the respective offices...

Nope. Plus our spreadsheets are more accurate than what CIC posts. Just take a look.
