    Not shipped separately, the ones she wanted to carry into the country when she comes in again. And total worth has nothing to do with declaring the stuff. Over 10K declaration rule is only if you are carrying cash.

    mehrotra - she got the B4 and B4a for declaring jewellery and the stuff she's getting into the country. But, the customs officer wasn't very co-operative. My wife got all the pics and stuff for the goods that she's bringing into the country declared on B4 - He didn't even see what's declared in...

You can take hints from the thread pelipeli started. Her's was extremely well organised...

    maverick... mine is kind of a similar case. My wife was working US. But, she moved to India recently and I applied from there. The processing times have improved pretty well lately for India. I am not very sure about US.
