I would second SATDXB.Actually getting PCC from KSA is a difficult job,so CHC London asks it only with medicals alongwith specific request forms in Arabic.

So there is almost NO chance of asking it again.

What's taking so long in your case?. I see that you timeline starts form 2005. I thought I was way way late as I belong to SAP FSW batch of 2007. When did you do the first PCC and when the second? Off course only if you like to share.

Actually I have no clue why my case is late.. 1st PCC was in 2009 and the second was July 2010. After they received my PCC & updated Sch1, they sent me the meds which i did in Oct 2010. Last month they replied to my query that B/G checks under way!! They did not confirm receipt of my meds. Does this mean that meds are received? Are these B/G checks done after meds?

As per CHC this B/G checks are security checks which are done after medicals.

My CAIPS order took exactly 40 calendar days from the time I submitted the application to a law firm in Toronto to the time I received my CAIPS.

Sorry that it is taking so long, but believe me that everyone is facing this CHC London office. They do the Security cum Background check after receiving the medical. If you see my timeline, it is similar to yours at least for the Medical Sent Date. I am also getting the Feedback from CHC that my case is under B/G check. I hope that we all get the PPR soon and this killing wait is over.

CHc always does the security check after thy receive the Meds result. Y for some file its taking time ?? coz some files CHc does the
the security checks through 3rd party agency. these files will get delayed.

Good question wht has been going on for years on your file??? . coz CHc caters many files thy are really slow . 1st they do the backgroup check ie the docs u send is correct/ true. then meds , then security check .............

Yes.. I realize that from what I read on here.
But I thought B/G & security checks have been done and complete before sending a medical request :
It makes sense to avoid further delays once medicals are done and avoid squeezing people's time to land.
In other words.. what has been going on for years on my file then

buddy , ur file must have already undergone all checks , now the delay is CHC has given a small pause for sending PPR for the last quarter 2010 guys , but soon it wil be in track and a batch of PPRs will roll out in may

Can anyone advice through which courier we can send passports to UK from Abu Dhabi. I was informed that DHL for example deliver the passports to the security office and a representative from the Visa office should collect them. is this the right way and acceptable for CHC London. Please advice urgently. Thanks.

thanks SATDXB for your prompt response. DHL don't deliver to CHC LOndon office. they just deliver ti Securty office and a person from CHC London should collect. is this is okay ? is this is the peocedure.
