Need advice on one issue:

If a person has resided in 2 or more different states within India for more than 6 months at a stretch, do we need to submit the police clearance certificate for all the states or the police clearance certificate from the current state of residence would suffice?

Kindly help out on this

Congrats for getting job offer.
I think there will be no use to request them to reconsider your case as its very unlikely they will reconsider it. I suggest you should go with your LMO /WP and complete one year in canada and then you will be eligible to apply in ECE for PR. and that will be faster than MI-1.

thanks dear, but people on forum told me that one with work permit is not eligible of getting permanent residence unless applied seperately. and even cannot apply for nationality later. can you please help me as this is very good to know that i am eligible automatically if i have worked there for one year. the other option i was thinking about is that once i get work permit i will also apply for FSW again with job offer so that i get it within a year. please help me way forward on deciding what is better.

yes, the forum members were right, you have far more better chances of getting your immigration with your job offer in canada, if you have one, its the best option that you apply fresh with mentions of your employment as in category called "arranged employment". if not, you still could go on an employment visa first to canada then after completing a certain time in canada you may apply for immigration.

Yes you have to apply afresh in CEC stream or if your employer agree to give you permanent job offer then you can apply in AEO category.

for more details please follow below mentioned thread

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-fsw-points-criteria-announced-new-federal-skilled-trades-class-fstc-t115576.0.html

*** CEC (Canadian Experience Class) ***

- The Canadian work experience requirement would be reduced from 24 months to 12 in the preceding 36 months, to allow faster transition for those who have already proven their employability in Canada's labour market. Accumulating 12 months of authorized work within the preceding 36 is more flexible for applicants working in Canada under international agreements (e.g. International Experience Canada).

- Only applicants with NOC 0, A or B work experience would continue to qualify for the CEC.

- Minimum language abilities would be required in each of the four abilities (reading, writing, oral comprehension and speaking) for applicants to the CEC.
"As with the FSWC, the proposed Regulations would grant the Minister the authority to set the language threshold. Initially, it is anticipated that the threshold would be set at CLB/NCLC 7, which corresponds to having “adequate intermediate proficiency” in speaking, oral comprehension, reading and writing for NOC 0 and A applicants and CLB/NCLC 5, or “initial intermediate” proficiency in each ability for NOC B applicants."

I have been saving the excel sheets of quarterly data release on data.gc.ca. Wanted to share the data which shows that the files of MI1 applicants are being worked upon. The MI1 inventory comparison of April 2011 Vs April 2012 is mentioned below. This is the data for the total number of applications for all CHC offices worldwide:

Inventory of MI1 applications with CHC offices worldwide
No. of cases No. of persons
As on 1st April 2011 52423 141098
As on 1st April 2012 32641 91104

Inventory of MI1 applications with CHC New Delhi
No. of cases No. of persons
As on 1st April 2011 8130 20639
As on 1st April 2012 5053 13236

Looking at the data, one can make out that they are working on the MI 1 applications. Though the speed is very slow as compared to MI2 and MI3, but at least we can be hopeful that the cases would be cleared.
That would help pep up the optimistic attitude of all the forum members

Thanx minhas for sharing and also continuing up the ray of hope. Only one question remains will they be able tackle 13236 nos of MI1 people within 2012 because next year surely new MI with different NOCs will be on obvious priority..

Anyways lets hope for the best. May we get MR real soon.
