We saw our DM on the Friday and by Wednesday we had the COPR in our hands. It came by mail.
So now we just have to land before May 20 to finalise the process.

Congratulations! That makes me very confident that I should be able to land quite soon too! I was told over the phone by CIC that my application has just been approved, but I'm still waiting for it to change to Decision Made on Ecas. So hopefully that will change soon and I will be checking the mail every day in hopes for the COPR letter. Are you going to flagpole Antoinetee, or wait til you plan a trip somewhere?

I called them to make sure they received an extra form i sent them. Then as the guy was checking that they received it, he came back and told me my application had just been approved several hours earlier. This was 3 days ago. Still says in process on my ECAS though. I check it like every 5 hours in case its updated. I just want the proof that it says decision made!

I bet!!! That must be so exciting!! I might try calling ours soon.... Too tempting!

I call 1-613-944-4000 from Canada. I actually have the number stored in my phone lol. I only called them the once though. I'm really tempted to call again just to see if they can give me a time frame for a passport request or when they will send the COPR, or anything!

ECAS just updated to decision made! ;D

It says:A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Hopefully they will contact me soon!!

status today and it said the medical test have been recived , they recive
my sponsorship on 30 july and they sent me the letter of SA
in 19 septemper , so please can u answer me is that a good news for

Congratulations!!! you have passed stage one now the application will be sent for further processing, possibly at an abroad visa office as stated in the SA its self.

No. It means they have your medical results. Does it say your application is in process?

Best way to get an idea of timeframe is to look at the thread specific to the visa office processing your application.

When people received Sponsorship Approval, did they give you a UIC number to check further status online? I gave the wrong email address and although I was approved as a sponsor back in September I have no number to check our status online. They say it may take a while to process my correct email address...so, I am wondering if we get word soon will the info be sent to my husband's email that he is approved and by mail? Then he can immediately come up with that letter of COPR?

Yes when I received my SA for my wife, I was given my file number as well as my UIC number.
You might want to try and call CIC and see if they can give you your UIC number or at the very least your file number.
