JULY 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

Hey everyone!
I noticed there was no thread started about July 2014 Outland applications!

WELL! We are mailing ours tomorrow morning!
We have spent since March sitting down at least once a week for a few hours working on forms and making sure we have everything set up!
We are sooo excited!

Oh! I didn't see it at all! Someone said this thread is easier to find though because of the length of the title from the other! I hope that doesn't offend anyone?

Our application arrived on Friday July 11! According to United States Postal Service. But of course no notice from Mississauga.

I too, am a July applicant. It arrived there today apparently, so now the wait begins. I am Australian with Canadian partner.

Well I am a Canadian citizen by birth and my husband and I have been together for 2.5 years and married since March. So hopefully our application will be really smooth since we have been living together in Texas for 2 years while I was here on a college visa and he was a police officer and neither of us have any dependents.

We are applying outland to Ottawa and it arrived according to USA post office Friday July 11th.

Hi All!

I sent my passport to the VFS office on July 11th as requested, and they directly send it to the Canadian Embassy as confirmed via SMS.
How much time it will takes to send me back my passport?

I'm asking since the VFS officer told me it will take maximum of 15 days, while in the email they noted that it will take "minimum of 30days!"

Actually i just noticed it today while re-checking the email, and the issue is that i travel too much and i can't keep my passport for more than 1 month!

Any help?

My application was received by CPC on 25th July according to the postage service that I used. Does anyone know if I can expect an email or letter confirming receipt of application or do I have to wait for a couple of months until my wife is approved as my sponsor?

CIC will not notify you when it's been received. also, recent applicants have noted that CIC does not send AORs (acknowledgement of receipt) anymore. It appears the first communication from CIC will be the sponsorship approval, so you are in for some wait.
