Hi everybody,
my husband is sponsering me and our VO is Vienna. We're applying outland but I'm living in Canada, so that I would have to fly to Vienna if they call me in for an interview.
My question is, how long in advance before the interview do they send you the "invitation", and do you have any chance to change that date at all?
I would like to go to Germany for my dad's birthday in September, but flights are very expensive so that I couldn't afford to go in September and then maybe again in the near future. We sent the application to Mississauga mid-May, so they should send it to Vienna in the end of August.. well then I have no idea how long it takes in Vienna, but that sounds like I should definitely wait to see if I need to go to the interview or not.
I don't really think that we have any "red flags", but you'll never know.
I would still like to know how much time I would have to book a flight before the interview, though.
