It truley is unbelieavable that it happened so fast. Here I was thinking I would have to wait till the new year for all of this stuff. I really really really hope that they continue to give AIP/DM at the same time for the applicants that have submitted medicals and paid all fees up front. Such a relief to receive both in the same day.

We did send everything out in one package, but it didn't help us much. Still waiting for DM. But it hasn't been too long since we got AIP, so I am still hopeful I will at least get DM soon.

As far as I know, Calgary is really slow sending out landing letters, and that the appointments are booked long in advance, so I don't really expect to land before February or March.

Hi everyone,

Well it's been quite a week for me. AIP + DM on December 3rd, haven't heard anything about my OWP, BUT today I got my landing letter in the mail!!!! Unbelievable! 2 days after AIP/DM the letter got to us, that is unreal timing.

I land in Edmonton on December 23rd. Can't believe it's all over.

We sent our app on January 22nd 2013, and it's all over Decemeber 23 2013, so basically 11 months for everything.

To those still waiting and dealing with the frustrations. I know exactly how it feels, and how sad it can be seeing other people get positive news. Don't worry though, once things speed up again CIC was really moving there for a while and they moved a few months ahead in only a few weeks.

I would strongly recommend those that haven't paid all the fees or haven't submitted your medicals to do so sooner rather than later. We did all of our stuff upfront and essentially got AIP/DM/Landing letter in a 3 day span. If your a February-April applicant I would get the fees and medicals done very soon!

Hello Family

has anyone of you been requested FBI Cert from CIC for your home town and is the States? If Yes have you received yours back from there? how long did yours take to get to you?

We are still waiting on my husbands FBI Cert to receive back from the States they said their working on files received Oct 18th.. his was received Oct 30th.... this is sooo frusterating we are already 5 weeks behind on this another 7 weeks to go before we submit to CIC. and I'm due in 5 weeks...........

ahhh please CIC and STATES FBI work faster so my hubby can get his PR.... pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee for our new babys sake..

Hi everyone...again. I don't even know if you guys are going to believe me anymore. I got my OWP in the mail today that was dated December 3rd, 2013.

A quick recap of the last 7 days of my life.

November 29th got engaged, partied after
December 3rd got AIP/DM, partied that night
December 4th had a Christmas party
December 5th Landing date set for December 23rd, partied that night
December 6th OWP arrived, going to go party right now

My liver can't even keep up with all this partying but I gotta do it right!? haha

I'm starting to feel bad taking all the good news guys, I really hope some of you get some great news next week.

Probably the best week of my life. I made sure to buy a couple lottery tickets tonight just in case I got one more good news in me =)

Wow, congrats to you! I am so happy to hear of someone getting some good news again. Being from Edmonton as well, I'm very glad to hear you didn't have to wait long to get a landing appointment. Good call on the lotto tickets!

@ Isthisoveryet, Yes I literally waited 2 days for landing letter and 3 days for OWP and I'm in Sherwood Park. So when your time comes hopefully you get the same time frames as me.
