Really I am not the one to ask. I am the spreadsheet guru but not an expert on CIC by any means. As a matter of fact I have never been able to log onto Ecas and have only called CIC one time. I use the spreadsheet as my guide as to what is happening. That is why I get so concerned when we have problems with it. Try asking Computergeek he is very knowledgable.jiggyzealous said:
Your file can be transferred at any point in time. However, the most likely time - if there are concerns about the sponsor or the relationship - is around the AIP time frame - 6 months currently. There are no guarantees, but in general issues about genuineness of the relationship are not raised after AIP. But they can be if something raises concerns in the mind of the visa officer. They have the right to evaluate everything at any point in the process - right up to the final landing interview.yffAm said:

I received my AIP email but eCAS still says application received... so as many on here would tell you, it is up to the agent who opens your file that day to update eCAS or not... it seems that the process is getting quicker but the number of "in process" posts i've seen recently makes me think that eCAS is getting less and less up to date...nairaboy said:
