Hello,
I’m 25 years old and I have primary hypertension, that is controlled with only one drug, with no other coexisting diseases or complications. Do you think that I can be refused because of my medical condition? Thanks

You should be fine if that's your only issue and it's well controlled with medication.

At your age there is a good chance you will need a cardiac work-up since it is pretty uncommon to have hypertension so young.

I did all investigation possible and found that there was nothing wrong, simply primary hypertension. Do you still think that it would be a problem ?

I also had primary hypertension when I applied and it didn't cause any problems. I got through just fine.

Would bring proof of all your tests to your medical. There is a good chance that IRCC may ask you to do further cardiac testing just to confirm that there isn’t something more serious going on given your age. Proof that you’ve done cardiac testing recently may help prevent further testing requests.

no,,, in 2017, I was 49 to 50 year-old when I applied for PR,,,,, hypertension, 2 drugs.
the only issue for me was an extra medical test for the kidneys
