Has anyone received back their citizenship certificate from Gatineau after having the file transferred to the local office for urgent processing? I picked up my passport at Mississauga on May 2, 2022, but have not yet received back the certificate.

Thank goodness, I finally received call from Passport Canada yesterday morning. My transfer is approved and I should pick up passport Wednesday evening, my flight is early Thursday morning. I was charged only $20 for the transfer, the agent said it's because the delays were not my fault.

I also had primary hypertension when I applied and it didn't cause any problems. I got through just fine.

I and my daughter's Oath was also Feb 9th Mississauga office, I received only my certificate in the mail today but not my daughter's. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Should I wait a few more days before sending out an inquiry?

I don't think the office is allowing in-person visits right now. But you can always call to confirm this.
