How can i search for upcoming events in canada

Events for what and why do you need events in Canada? Attend events in your home country as that is what most people do. Coming to Canada for an event is not necessary in most cases until you are presenting or for a high profile event (medical etc.).
Just want to make it as a surprise for my dad ..which is a deacon in the church ...and I do love Canada from day one
It wouldn't be a reason to grant Visitor Visa if that is what you are looking for
