As per Visa guidelines any one travelling particular to the WEST from Africa or ASIA would have to go through Medical Checks...And what they really see if U are found of any Chronic and active Communicable diseases e:g AIDS or TB then u would not be granted a visa.

No. blood pressure is common disease and controlled through medicine. It does not effect on visa.

hehe..don't worry! I too had a high BP recording during my medical exam, in fact the nurse also brought it to my notice that my BP was high. but nothing happened, i got my visa in just 5 days.

Everyone in NA got high BP. They drink coffee more than water and those extra caffeine shoots the BP to the top.
