    June 2019 citizenship applicants

Thanks! That's what I figured too but wanted to be sure from someone with first hand experience. Was there too many questions from the history section? The names and dates are too hard to remember lol!

    June 2019 citizenship applicants

To those who have taken the test: What document did you bring with you to the exam? The "all your original documents that support your citizenship application" part is not very clear. Do I have to bring the application form and physical presence calculation too or just the documents that were...

Wife received her PR card today by mail. Interview was on 19th so it took 7 days to get the card. Freakishly quick! Well folks it was great participating in this forum. Best of luck to all the applicants; just hang in there :) Next up, I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in within a...

The letter that we got for the interview did not mention anything about proof of address but I guess it varies between CIC centers. Like I was seeing some posts mentioning that it takes 10 - 15 minutes + loads of questions but we were in and out in few minutes with having to answer only 1 question.

As a form of ID for the sponsor. The applicant is ID'd via passport. You can use PR card or passport too. Anything that has an photo and government issued will work. One of the first things that I did when I came to Canada back in 2011 was to get a driver's license (learner's license). It is...

All done :D The interview was not an interview but rather handing over the COPR letter. We were given the 10-11 slots at Calgary CIC and there were like 10 other couples in that slot. The call-in notice was taken at the reception. We were called at the booth at around 10:30am, the lady behind...

You are worrying too much. It should come in soon. I know it sounds cliche but worrying too much will not do anything or accelerate the process. In my case, my wife's OWP approval took way too long compared to others (despite having a full time job in her field of study). Sometimes, the person...

You should be getting the letters soon too...maybe the officer who is looking at your application is a bit slower lol. Good luck! I was a PR when we bought the house; as long as you have good credit standing (I had quite a long credit history and my wife's was well above bank's requirement), it...

LOL thanks but I can see a lot of people getting it. We put a lot of effort making sure everything is there; used sticky notes for easier navigation + included all required docs in the first go. Alongside, we own our house + got mortgage and insurances under both of our names so those definitely...

That’s ok. It’s a tough form to fill up and dates can be easily missed. Just send it over and you will be ok; nothing to panic.
