The acknowledgment I got at the bank has all details including the swift codes of the sending and receiving banks and the amount and all of the details that was mentioned for the GIC funds transfer section. I'm assuming this is the swift copy?

Hi Zat ,
Keep ready all the documents for the visa transfer,you might get the GIC certificate soon.
Send the Swift copy of amount transfer from your scotia bank email account.
But , apply for visa before August, wait for GIC certificate max. untill Tuesday.

I sent the initial application to scotia bank on 3rd of July and received the email from scotia bank only on 22nd with my new scotia account details.

I had transferred the money the next day from my Vijaya bank and on 24th, the FED told me that the money should have been credited to my scotia bank.

No reply from scotia bank yet and I haven't send a soft copy of the TT to scotia bank as I read mixed reviews about that delaying the application further.

Hey,

I have transfered the amount on 23rd july but still not received the GIC certificate.

What you guyz suggest should i wait for the it or apply for visa with the Wire transfer receipt as we have just 2 days left for visa application.

Really tensed on this

meera ...mine case is similar to yours....i transfered funds on 24th july still i haven't received GIC certificate. All we can do is wait as we have no other option..Just wait For GIC CERTIFICATE....once you receive it plz update here

When are you planning to apply for visa as the date is on 1st aug?

I checked with High commision customer care...they are saying that 1st aug is not the last date for visa appilcation but its ideal to apply till that date, otherwise its totally dependent on the visa officer to process the application.

I had just called the Scotia bank customer care. I had transferred funds on the 26th. My a/c still hasn't received the funds. I'm hoping it will reach in a day or two.

Hey guys,

I got the most wonderful mail this morning from scotia bank about my GIC certificate.

I initially sent my documents to scotia bank on the 3rd of July. Got my bank details on 22nd July and transferred the money on 23rd July.

and today I got the GIC certificate with other documents through the secure mail.

you would get a mail to your personal email ID stating you got a new secure mail.

Any one else got it?

I transferred the money on 09th of July and recieved the GIC certificate intimation mail on 18th of July. 7 working days seems to be the time frame for receiving the GIC certificate under the current delays. Submitted my visa application to VFS chennai on 22nd of July and waiting for Visa. Hoping for the best.
