I am stuck in the same situation my full package is ready and I was about to send my application next hour, and discovered this new Generic Form.

What I did, I called to CIC today but they had no idea about this changed form and The guy have given me London Visa office number to contact them and ask what to do in this situation.

But when I called LVO no one was available at that moment, I request you all who are sending apps this week instead of posting messages here try contacting CIC office through phone and ask them to clear this issue.

And please share the Info here too.

hi can anyone shed some light i am a bit worried. my NOC 1112, cic received my appl. 7th may and still i havent heard anything nor the draft was not charged at the bank. can someone please share some advise. thanks

I dont know if i meet CAP my docs reached on 14th may and NOC on 2174 ... Its really a long wait a true test of patience atleast this process will teach how to remain patient and calm .

Dears,

I have applied as FSW (application reached 7th MAY 2014, still waiting for CIC response) I have a few questions on points calculations:

1. EXPERIENCE: my experience is more than 10 years , but expereince letter i sent were having only my designation, work duration and salary. Job description is not included. Will it effect?

2. IELTS: overall my IELTS score is 7.5 in all 4 categories, i calculated 6+6+6+5=23 as language points , is it corrent way ?

3. My age now is 35 and I will turn to 36 in coming November , what age score I will get , can I get max. points 12 ?, technically speaking I am in 36th year of age but crossed 35 years (born 1978 NOV ) .. confusing right?

4. My degree is bachelors in engineering (4 years) what score I will get 23 or 22 ?

please reply as i am nervous, tense and stressed.

Oh Brother, Job description is a must. It is the MOST crucial part. Why did you send exp letters without your duties mentioned. Do not want to discourage you but CIC bases their decision by matching your current job duties vs NOC duties. Since you have not provided job duties, how will they compare?

Whats your NOC? I suggest you start gathering your job duties letters from your past and present employers. If your NOC is not so hot you can send other application.

one of my experience letter has JD on it , but it will give me only 1.2 years in past 10 years moreover, working hours are not mentioned.

can an experience certificate with number of working hours missing in it (other all req. information included ) be the cause of rejection of complete application ?

Moreover, on my translated birth certificate the notary didn't mention the date , can it be the cause of rejection ? other all req. information available on translation .

I downloaded from my net-book 3 times and I find the old March form again and again. Can you pls confirm or there is something to do with my computer.

From what I think is new form will be taken into consideration from 1 July, 2014 onwards. So for instance application received at CIO on or after 1 July, 2014 should have new form attached with application. Before that Old form should be ok. That my point of view.

If one sent application on 20th July through normal post and reached on 5th July, I think, it should be accepted.

Last year, Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] (PDF, 570 KB) changed in September 2013 and none was rejected to submit old IMM 5406 form.
