Hi, i want you to share our timeline
We are applying TRV STUDY permit for my child and spousal open work permit for me (my husband is in Edmonton, Alberta)

Applied and paid online: 7/18/2014
Application received: 7/21/2014
Med examination request: 7/23/2014
Med examination done: 8/4/2104

We are waiting for our medical report result and what will be issued next

if we received a medical request from CIC website and had IMM printed already what will be the next process or step? And how long it will take for PPR OR PASSPORT REQUEST?

Hi yes online thru CIC husband ko nag pasa ng application namin ng child ko, mabilis ang process pero noted ko naman na 3-4weeks talaga bago mapasa ng St. Lukes ung Med Reports sa Canadian Embassy ano timeline nya share mo naman?

Hello everyone:

I would like to seek for your advice.

My wife went to Squamish, BC last April 2014 as a Temporary Worker (with working visa valid up to 2 years) and since I am also employed or has a job in our home country (Philippines), I did not joined her TFW (Temporary Foreign Worker) application. Although I noticed in her application that there is a box to be marked if the spouse "will be accompanying" the applicant, and we ticked-mark "not accompanying".

With that, I am thinking that if I will be applying for an Open Work Permit (as my wife's derivative), would that taint my OWP application? As originally, I did not joined my wife's TFW application. I have now thought that I should have joined her application by submitting the application form together (TFW for my wife and OWP for me). Although, I can not go back to that moment and my only choice is to apply for my own OWP.

In addition to the information given, I have also applied for a Visitor's Visa (TRV) last June 2014 and I was refused based on ties. To give more information, my wife went to Canada as a TFW last April 2014, and we were married May 2011 (been married for more than 3 years), still has no kids/dependents, and I am currently employed here in our home country (Philippines).

Now, I am thinking that aside from the fact that I was refused for a TRV (my plan was to visit her, but it looks like I would not be able to do so, which resulted in my thinking that in order to join my wife, I should then have my OWP).

Given the refusal for TRV (based on ties), what do you suggest I include with my OWP application to make it stronger? Is there any kind of document or letter that I need to include to support my application and make it stronger? And having been refused a TRV (Visitor's visa), would that taint my OWP application?

hello every one ... Baka po my naka expereince na kung papano mag send ng addtl doc sa canada embassy abudabi. Last June 12 , 2014 nag pass kami ng SOWP and SP , Mag 3 months nang processing ang visa namin. Ngayun po nareceived ng husband ko ang SINP job approval Confirmaion niya. sabi kaze ng immagration consultant namin ipass para lalo mapabilis ang processing at to support also our visa. Kaya lng po ng pumunta ako ng VFS kuwait (kaze nasa Kuwait po kami) di siya tinaggap need daw my email ang CIC to pass addtl. doc. Maybe someone can help.... thank you in adv.

Hi guys just want to ask if noc b po ba ang papel meaning skilled yun? My nakuwa po kasi aq n employer nd inaantay ko lng ang papel na lumabas. If lumabas npo ba ung papel ko na noc b pede ku napo ba agd mkuwa wife ko and anak ko? Salamat po sa mga sasagut...

GUYS!!! I NEED YOUR HELP SO BAD

Inaapply ko kasi yung husband ko ng OWP sa CEM via online, after a month, na refused sia. Reason is no NBI & Marriage certificate provided. I thot kc yung mga requirements lang and my work permit ang need nila. Iniisip ko rin baka may mali sa IMM1295E regarding sa details of INTENDED WORK IN CANADA SECTION. Im thinking na magpatulong sa agent kaso mahal po ng bayad if you can help me sana (i wish). Ano pa po ang ibang documents na need ko aside sa:

1. IMM1295E - Work Permit application made outside Canada
2. Passport (applicant)
3. Picture (applicant)
4. Proof of Medical Exam (since nag medical na sia)
5. IMM5476E - Use of Representative

1. IMM5257B - Application for TRV made outside Canada
2. LETTER OF EXPLANATION:
a. Work Permit (Mine as skilled)
b. NBI Clearance
c. Marriage Certificate
d. Birth Certificate (applicant and mine)

f. Our wedding pictures (since we are just married for 9 mos)

Sani nila ilagay yung sa letter of explanation. Your situation was same like ours. kaya iniisip ko mag apply ulit pero not sure if enough na docs ko.

question po nag apply kasi kami ng open work permit yung kasabayan namen na halos 3 days lang pagitan sabay kami nakrcve ng email na me update s my cic pero until now wala pa yugn akin yung kanya naaprove yesterday any idea guys? july applicant po sino po dito ang same? tska W301048---- po yung akin work permit id number yung sa kasabayan ko W301042---- sino po ang same na ganyang application number and me result na or yung sakin na me result na din?
