Hi Seniors,

I have two questions.

1. Is there any format for getting the reference letter from our current and past companies we have worked.? If yes kindly share it.
2. I have worked for 5 companies and i have 4 years experience do i need to get the letter from all the companies or last two companies would be fine?
3. And the main query is i worked as contract employee ( my payroll was processed by another parent company) so should i get the letter from my parent company or from my deputed company?

1) There is no standard format, but this is a very good one:

2) You need a letter for all the experience you have claimed points for. If its 5 companies you need 5 letters.

3) This one I'm not 100% sure about, but it seems logical to get it from the deputed company.

Of course you can create a profile and add you education; but the points for the education will only reflect after you entering the ECA ref#

What will be the point of creating the profile if you can not submit it?
One needs to have both IELTS results and ECA report before creating and submitting a profile.

You require neither IELTS nor Express Entry for temporary Work Permit. Express entry is only designated to people applying for PR. Follow come to Canada tool to proceed Work permit.

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

Hi,

Whatever is acceptable coming from the primary applicant is acceptable from the spouse. All you need to do is sign a notarised affidavit giving your full consent to the use of these funds for immigration purposes.

I want to apply under the NOC code for "Translators", I have a bachelor's degree in English translation and I have about 3.5 years of consistent experience doing this (from before graduation, till now, 1 year after) and now I'm a master's student studying something else entirely.

1. Now since my job is still a "translator" and I want to apply as one, Is it ok to say that I have a bachelor's degree in the EE forms? I mean that isn't breaking any laws or providing false information, right?

2. I have heard that they only accept work experiences that have been done after the graduation date of your degree. So now I'm only eligible for one year of work experience, correct? Is the fact that I'm currently a student, in another field, an affecting factor here? And if so, If I tell them my degree is a bachelor's, Where do I have to inform them that I was a student during this time?

3.Normally, my salary has seen some raises during these 3.5 years. which of them is supposed to go In the letter that I should write for them? Just the last one?

Well, this depends on the reason for rejection. If it is rejected for being incomplete, i believe the full fees are refunded.

Hi,

1) That is the truth, so how would you be breaking the law? The master's degree is not considered as you are yet to complete it.
2) That only applies to Canadian work experience, so don't worry. Skilled, foreign work experience gained while studying is perfectly acceptable. They will know you were studying at the time through your academic history.

If i get funds from my father as tfr in my a/c then i get a fd in my name (backed by gift deed) . Now is there any requirement of avg balance in my bank a/c? OR Will fd be considered as part of bank balance and will be sufficient as POF combined with bank balance? Thanks..
