If people cant pay the application fees, how in the world are we gonna go to canada with those limits, I heard the maximum one person can take while leaving the country is 5000 $ now instead of 10000...

My plan is I found someone I trust. They will help open an account there for me. Every time they travel during the coming year I will send with them 5000$... hopefully I can get $20000 and get to print a statement....so I can use it as proof of funds when I land.

Is it necessary to take the money in cash or you can take some in cash and rest keep in your account and just show a bank statement

From the CIC website:

How much money should you bring?
It is a good idea to research how much it costs to live in the place where you plan to settle in Canada.

Bring as much money as you can to make moving and finding a home in Canada easier. Note, however, that Canadian customs regulations require you to declare if you are bringing more than CAN$10,000 into Canada. If you do not tell them, you may be fined, and your funds could be seized. These funds could be in the form of:

cash,
documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.), or
documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders)

It doesn't say anything about 'bank statement' though..

Dear friend,
As far as I know the max cash you can leave the country with is 10 000 USD, and this is published on the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs website:
http://www.mfa.gov.eg/Arabic/ConsularServices/TravelGuide/Details/Pages/TravelGuide.aspx

What is the source of the information that the limit is now up to $ 5000?

My brother travels every month to dubai, the actual limits now are 5000, they dont say that officially. And they check every bag now, they even have dogs trained to smell dollars! !!! I dont know if this is true, but I hear it all the time now from people who has been traveling lately. :(

I am not worried about the proof of funds, I am worried because I will need cash to survive! !
Can we open a bank account there???? I thought one must have permanent residency to be able to do that. I read something about HSBC giving people the possibility to open an account in canada from abroad but I dont know if that is possible in Egypt.

You can open a bank account in Canada even if you are on a short visit (on a Travel Visa for example). I know that for sure because I myself opened an account when I was there a few months ago on a short visit.

However, not all banks would let you open a bank account on a Travel Visa. For example, CIBC won't let you open a bank account with them, but BMO would.
