Does CIC monitor this site??

I was just wondering if CIC would check sites like this out to see what applicants are saying...

What's stopping CIC from being the ones to have created this site? Anyone can go and get a domain name and create this... I think everyone gave their email address or something, and there you go, a connection... I am just glad I found this site, at least I can see how other people are doing around the time I sent in my application... It's better than the old days before internet where you would probably just have to check your email or listen to your phone for god knows how long! I don't really care what they do, I just want this thing over and done with so I can live with my Family... I can't wait to buy a house but I want my wife with me so that we can make our biggest purchase ever (besides my mid life crisis Lamborghini) hehe... together. BUT people worry about this (perhaps) and Facebook logs everything forever, even if you close your account... and people freely post up everything, even where they are at that moment.. perfect for people to break into your house if they want... Doing things like that is far more dangerous than asking questions on here and seeing how others are progressing. (That's my opinion).

While I think it is possible, I think it unlikely. I am sure they are aware of it. In cases where they are trying to PROVE fraud in some way, in a serious case, it wouldn't surprise me if they would check sites like this searching for specific information on a specific case. But for the most part I doubt they would care, nor have the time to peruse the site for general cases. Too many posters here, too hard to link to specific names and cases etc. Its a little too anonymous for them to waste their time on. BUT, it would not be impossible if they had a major concern about a case. Of course it is only prudent, as always, to watch what one says on a public forum. It could one day come back to haunt you. :-X

I doubt it too unless they really pay people to check these kinds of sites. And I doubt those immigration workers want to deal w/ anything related to immigration stuff on their time off of work...but thankfully most of us have been nothing but honest on this forum so maybe it's a good thing if they do, lol.

Every government dept has a certain amount of budget for employee salaries, they really can't afford to put manpower on websites where people don't use real name. It would be foolish to 2nd guess, match names and then refuse apps based on nickname on certain websites. CIC has to adopt bots to scrap each and every keyword, they would rather do with 10 fraud cases then spend time and money to investigate something which would prove nothing

Also, privacy policy for the govt is big thing, only certain personnel are allowed to view contents and/or act upon cases. But we could always do with a little of conspiracy humor

I doubt it and if, I do not care. They have all my chat and emails from day one, intimate things, tensions, emotions, conversations about life and values. They have the documented heart and soul of our relationship. The only place CIC stayed out was our bedroom. I think they have enough work to do on what they get with fewer and fewer resources.
