i think TEF is the final exam which is acceptable..could anybody tell me the dates is INDIA...specifically AF DELHI dates for TEF..as i tried to call AF Delhi..they dont respond...AF Chandigarh does not conduct it...

Af chandigarh has started conducting tef from this session. You can call to af chandigarh and ask for registration and exam dates because registration is going on.

Just a notice to all, that I received the original certificates of my TEF exam which were posted from Paris, almost 1.5 months after the exam. I thought this might help.

I had just started level 4 of AF when I tool TEF. I had taken and passed DELF A2 level some months prior to TEF exam with 87.5%.
I could get 2 points from TEF namely from Speaking and Writing sections.
I'm sure if I could take it a little bit later, then I could get a much better score.

I am Azhar from Karachi, Pakistan. Currently I am taking french classes from AFK of Level 3. Actualy I am short of 1 point. I am confused wether I should go for DELF A1 or DELF A2 (comparatively easy for me), or shouyld go for TEF (for which I have to travel to Islamabad as AF Karachi currently not organizing TEF due to shortage of candidates.) In addition to this AF Islamabad gave me another option which is e-TEF.(online TEF exam)

Now I need comment from you seniors wether this e-TEF is recognized as TEF. or they do stick with TEF. Further I also all to send me the material related to TEF at azhermahmoodg@yahoo.com, azhermahmoodg@gmail.com, & azhar.ghauri@jsil.com

On my certificate which I received from my TEF exam it has been written e-TEF but I didn't take an online exam. Are you sure they have an online exam at all? I have not heard of that.
By the way, I just emailed you practice materials.
If I were you, I would take DELF exam for sure (as it is not that expensive, if I am not mistaken). Then, I also tried to take TEF to be sure I can claim for the points. It is not a bad idea to also take DELF, as it might help sometime.

Many Congrats on your TEF score!!!! As many other people in this topic, I only need 1 more point for my application. Can you please advice me on:
1. How long (in term of total hours) should it take me to study for and pass the basic level of TEF? (given that I'm a real beginner with French?)
