hello everyone no PPR for me today : but i found an email from my husband sent from yesterday coz he knew i wasn't gonna get any embassy email we wanted to cheer me up... :'(
i guess we r used to finding nothing in my inbox...but i'm sure someone else's gonna find a PPR, come on! bring on the gr888 news members

Please be patient as we will contact you when the application reaches the next stage of processing. In the meantime, if there is any change in the information submitted for the application please inform us as soon as possible.

Please note that your wife has to undergo additional medical tests that was sent on May 09, 2011 to her mailing address mentioned in her application; and until now we have received the result

Hab, my husband re-did his medical in July, it has been 4 months & a half since my husband re-did his medical and we're still waiting, and still until now the embassy did not send us an e-mail to undergo a new medical.

No for us they ask my wife on october 4 to redo the medical she do it on october but still nothing.

My husband went to the embassy this morning and he got his permanent residency the same day! wououou!
He said that there were a lot of people waiting, so it's good to arrive very early in the morning.

Did you get anything from them before this? it sounds like they requested some stuff back in May. they will not give you any info over the phone. if u need to clarify the email you should email them back. When did your application get to Damascus? Good luck

I am from Iran. I was sponsored by my husband.
Last time we sent an email on August and then in October but no answer. Why they ignore emails? Why don't they give even a short reply?

My husband is from Iran too, I am sponsoring him. We sent an email too but got no reply. I don't know why they don't reply.... I guess probably because they are so busy. someone on here had posted before that there is roughly 1200 applications sent to Damascus every year. Some people get a reply but it is usually an automated one saying to be patient the file is in queue. It makes it so hard on our end though not knowing anything

Wow same day!!! That's great! Happy to hear everything went well...what time did he arrive at the embassy and what time did they return his passport?

He arrived at the embassy at 7:30 am and they said 'come back tomorrow at 3:30 pm to take it back'. My husband kindly asked the woman to get it the same day cause he has to go back to Lebanon. She said 'ok, come back this afternoon at 3:30 pm'. And his passport was ready!

Nope I didn't get anything at all I'm worried they sent it to Iraq where my wife is but I put my Canadian address the only mailing and doesn't have any mailing system in ecase it showed Canadian address!! But if I sen them email hope they Dnt take care 10years to reply!!!! What is that mean tho additional test !! Her medical will expired in two month!!!
