I don't think there is a problem, I am a PR holder, I came from Canada to visit my husband, I've been with my husband 5 months and a half and my husband got his PPR while I'm visiting him and now we're coming back to Canada together :)

vivi you don't have to be worried, ours said (application received ) for a whole year :) after that it changed to (in process) and in few days my husband got his PPR.
