Buffalo Processing Time line 2010/2011

Hello Guys,
I got a question, my ECAS shows my application received on this date at buffalo but i did not get any email for AOR/Medical yet. Can u tell me with your experience whats that mean. Is it normal and i supposed to get medical request soon or what.

As far I know, e-CAS doesn't necessarily reflect everything that goes through BUFFALO. Applicants who applied in Dec/Jan have received AOR/MEDICAL almost after 6~7 months. But some of you who applied later (March/April) are getting some response back now which seems lot faster. So, you have to wait and see what happens next.

If you don't receive anything within 2 weeks; you can email Buffalo asking that you can login to e-CAS and see that they received your application. Now, when can you expect your AOR? (Normally, they create your FILE and put in into e-CAS. I assume that your file has also been created and Buffalo corresponds better/faster when a file has been created.)

Hi guys, i sent out my application on Feb 18 and it arrived Buffalo office on Feb 25 according to Canada Post.

Until last sunday night (Sept.4) i could log in to ECAS and saw my status has been updated. But it stated that they received my application on Apr 25!

Anyone has any idea why this happened? When could i expect receiving AOR and medical request? Thx!

@Fujima - I applied in March and yesterday i am able to log in to ecas and it says my application received on March 8th. So hopefully we should be getting AOR within 2 weeks.

Have a chill pill my friend! it is just an error from their end. If they recieved your file on april as they say they did, your file would not be even open at this time...so lloks like your file was recieved in february and congrats...your medicals are on its way. If i was you, I would book up an appointment with the medical doctor...

@ Sam...my friend's application was received April 6th and she received email AOR last week. So who knows in what order Buffalo is sending out AOR. I applied 2 weeks before her and didnt receive anything.

• Address disappeared
• Status has been changed to "in process"
  • CIC received application for permanent residence on January 18, 2011
  • CIC started processing application on September 2, 2011
  • Medical results have been received

Hi Rossei,

When your medical reached Ottawa. Mine reached on 18th of August and no updates on E-cas yet. And hw you log in to E-cas by client ID or UCI number.

I log in by client ID, does that make any difference.

My e-CAS used to show same as yours from the day I received my AOR. It also showed my mailing address on top. Now, it has disappeared. I prefer it as the address is no longer valid. I updated my address by emailing and faxing Buffalo and they told me NOT to change my address in e-CAS before.

Hi Mahesari!

Is it all medical results goes to Ottawa? Not directly to the embassy where we sent our application? I was asking the DMP's clinic but they don't want to tell any information.

Applied for Pr, through PNP, the file was recieved in BUffalo on the 28th of April 2011 ,
I got My AOR Today, 7th of September 2011. Wondering when can i see the Medical Request in my mail.

More or less 6 months from the date of AOR. My friend applied there and his file was transferred in LA. He just got his approval today. He had his medical last May.
