BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

I copy the email on MS Word, delete all the irrelevant things (from-to) printed it, scanned and attached to the file.
That's what i did and got my BOWP successfully.

Can you please tell me how long before the expiration date on your work permit you applied for BOWP?

I saw it on the forum that someone pointed out you must apply in between 90 - 120 days before PGWP expires?

Is there such a rule for PGWP holders?

Hi,
there's no such time limit. To be eligible you have to apply within 4 months prior to your current WP expiration (which means not earlier than 4 months before your WP expires). You can apply even 1 week before your current WP expires.

I haven't get the hard copy of BOWP. It has been almost 2 weeks gone.

for some applicant it said the normal processing is 4 months ,, i guess that is my case i phoned the call centre today as my application is passed due she told me that processing is 4 months ,, for the bridging open work permit i am not allowed to work in the daycare i asked the agent if i am under implied status she said yes implied status on bridging open work permit does this mean that i am allowed to work anywhere except in child care.. please give light on my case as i am starting working in another job on the 1st of november my wp expires on the 26th of jan 2015 anyway

If you submit your application for new WP while the old one is still valid you're under implied status until your application is processed.

You should be fine and you don't have to tell your employer anything until you get the new work permit. Then provide them with a copy.

Hi,
you can work under implied status until a decision has been made on your case. If negative, you have to stop working immediately and do all the necessary arrangements for legal stay in Canada.

PLease suggest : Guys i applied for my PR and have BOWP. But due to some reason i moved back to india and my PR is still in process and my visitor visa expired.
So question is can i apply for Visitor visa based on BOWP ?

Applied for BOWP with a paper application (as I had not received my AOR) and received the hard-copy of the BOWP today. It was issued on October 27.

Anyone is familiar with the 4 year maximum rule for working in Canada?

I have a 3 years Post Graduation Work permit and had a off campus work permit before. Now I'm applying for a BOWP but not sure it that will be granted due to a maximum 4 years rule.

Any advice?

What does AOR really mean? Does that mean we have received a positive selection decision?
