Lawyer is saying i m eligible right now without experience
But some friends told me i need experience in this NOC
Thats why i m asking me should i go with lawyer
But no one is helping me here

If you are in vancouver go into the PNP office and speak to them. When I had question I just went in and asked. They were very helpful in explaining the criteria.

As for people helping on here I am not sure what you expect. Unless someone has applied with your exact circumstances it is pretty hard to give advice.

I think you are eligible, as long as you have supervisor position you fall in NOC B Catagary, but for safer side Call BC PNP Help Line No or talk to any immigration Lawyer

Don't waste the time, nowadays people are submitting application very quickly, so better to call immigration lawyer they charge you some account for guidance but that's worth it.

One of my friends applied for Store Supervisor and his lawyer told him you need previous work experience in the same field, he applied after 4 months when he gets a post graduate work permit and he got the PNP approval letter after 3 months.

Employment requirements

For roofers, completion of a two- to three-year apprenticeship program
or
Over three years of work experience in the trade are usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
Roofing trade certification is compulsory in Quebec and available, but voluntary, in all other provinces and the territories.
Trade certification for residential steep roofers is available, but voluntary, in British Columbia.
Red Seal endorsement is also available to qualified roofers upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.
Shinglers require one to two years of on-the-job training.

So bro do not go with any advice ,this is pretty basic general knowledge thing that your job is skilled as shingler installer, So experience is necessary for you in that situation . Do not take risk in those kind of decision making.

Thats why i m asking but the lawyer is saying that we can apply right now
M so worried and confused
Should i go ahead with lawyer advice or not
I have previous experience in mechanical engineering field around 3 years
But not in roofing
Will that mechanical engg experience will work for me if i will go ahead...

I think there are a couple of different things that decide how quickly your application get processed. I know for sure that applications from outside the Metro Vancouver area get priority because that is what they say on the website (I guess the reason for this is that it would be more difficult to find people to hire outside of metro Vancouver). Then I also think it depends on the quality of the application, is it easy to process it - e.g. did you include all documents and notarized certificates etc. And I also think it depends on the NOC code, I think they prioritize some over others. This is my guess.

Good morning all! Congratulations to all, who are receiving some info! What I cannot understand is, how people, that have applied after me have already been notified and even have received their package by mail. How can it be, that some applicants receive an info and documents by mail and when I phone at the PNP office, they won't even take a look into my file? The only thing I keep hearing is: You need to be patient, we do not inform you by email, wait for our info in the post. GOOD BYE....
This situation is one of the worst I have been in and I just hope, that they do get some kind of info out to me ASAP. Does anyone here know : Would it help, if my (future) employer goes to the PNP office in person and requests an update on the application?
