No update. Went into their office yesterday and was told they are looking into files up to 2850 so at least some one should be actually looking at my file. I haven't worked since middle of September so I am eagerly awaiting approval.

Yes you can continue working with implied status. You will get an email when they make their decision and in my case I had to stop work.

Hey you need to send in application for extension before your visa expires. It will get denied with out PNP approval but whilst it is processing you will have implied status. Send it by mail. This will buy you an extra 39 days. I did this got denied and am now on visitor visa whilst awaiting pnp...
